Rosie a Rescue Puppy in California

This dear sweet little girl is the product of a bad
breeder located in Courtland, CA. Fortunately she
was rescued by some caring people before the
"breeder" had her put to sleep
because he was
unable to sell her
. This "breeder" sold the rest of
the puppies on Craig's List for $500 each and
changed his number after all puppies were sold.

I am trying to help with the welfare of this puppy in
finding her a home as well as gathering
information that might be useful for her treatment
and other breeders of the Dogue De Bordeaux.

I have video of the puppy I can forward on to you if
you are interested in her or her condition.

She is currently being fed a RAW diet is not
spayed and has not yet been vaccinated.

Her right front leg is severely deformed, a portion
of her paw is growing from her elbow. She w
ill
need to have the leg amputated at a later date, but
for now she is b
uilding her strength up getting her
"happy puppy" back in action in a loving
environment.

If you are aware of any DDB with a similar
deformity or who has had a front leg amputated I
would be most grateful if you could contact me so
that we can put our heads together about what
might be best for this girl.

Some information has been gathered on the
puppy and we are working on picking up more.

There are no papers on these puppies
unfortunately to attempt to track lineage.

Dam is supposed to weigh 120# Sire 140#

Rosie
was 17lbs  at 8/9 weeks old compared to a
brother who is reported to be 24lbs.
Generally
females are within 5lbs of their mothers weight at
maturity but due to her issues Rosie may be
smaller than her mother when full grown. Hopefully
she will be closer to 100lbs so it will be easier live
on 3 legs :)

She was born on either September 20th or the
25th, rescue was given both dates?

She is currently with a foster in Sacramento, CA

Her surgery will be expensive and the rescue has
several other dogs to care for as well.
If you have
any helpful information,
or could make a tax
deductible
donation for her care and future surgery
or are interested in adopting this sweet darling,
please contact me
or the rescue directly.
